We are facing extraordinary challenges that demand swift and bold action. Three-fourths of the planet’s lands and two-thirds of its ocean areas have already been significantly altered by human activities—and on our current trajectory amplified by climate change we risk losing so much more. Failure to act urgently, rooted in justice and equity, to protect our planet will place everyone at further risk.

There is so much we can do when we take our individual voices and raise them together for change. So take the Healthy Ocean Action Pledge with the Healthy Ocean Coalition. Each month we will offer a range of actions or highlight actions of our partners organizations that you can take to raise your voice for change. These actions will focus on community-building, individual action, and systemic change.

You'll be given options centering equitable access to nature, reducing the nature gap, increasing protections for ocean biodiversity, battling climate change and fossil fuel companies. Let's work together, for change.
